Cosy, comfortable and clean. Large room with easy access to the car to unload luggage. Great kitchenette facilities allowed us to cook proper meals. Hot shower with great pressure and so grateful to be able to do a load of washing after almost 2 weeks travelling around. We spent the day exploring Studlagil Canyon and it was magnificent.

The entire place is amazing! The kitchen is fully equipped, plenty tables to seat and tea/coffee available all the time. The bedroom size is great, you can easily fit all your stuff. The cleaner staff is super attentive and helpful. The location is also good, nearby the airport and on the way for some waterfalls trekking.

This basic guest house, just off Iceland’s Ring Road, is 5 minutes' drive from central Egilsstadir.

Loved this place and our host. Added bonus of a sauna and a hottub and some delicious homemade icelandic bread. Perfect stop over when travelling the ring road and only 5 minutes from the majestic Hengifoss. I do hope life brings us this way again.
