View was stunning! Cozy, clean rooms, lovingly tended plants, clean bathrooms. They were very accommodating to our early check-in. Loved the slippers and the good vibes.
Located in a historic house in central Húsavík, Árból Guesthouse offers free parking and free WiFi access. Whale watching trips depart from Húsavik Port, only a 5-minute walk away.

Arbol Guesthouse is the cutest guesthouse I stayed at in my entire Iceland holiday. You got everything you need in your room, everything was pretty clean, the design of the interior was beautiful and well elaborate and the hostess was so welcoming. She gave me a lot of advices for things to do in the area and where I still wanted to go. She's a local and pretty well known with Iceland (hiking, awesome spots and more beyond that). In the morning you got free coffee, juice or tea, some cookies and bananas for everyone who'd spend the night there.
Set in Húsavík, within 42 km of Godafoss Waterfall and 4.4 km of Husavik Golf Club, Saltvík Farm Guesthouse offers accommodation with a terrace as well as free private parking for guests who drive.

Nice location, comfortable beds. Didn’t see any staff, except the lovely cleaner as we left.
Situated at Húsavik Cape, this renovated overlooks Skjálfandi Bay. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a TV and a private bathroom with shower. Húsavik town centre is a 3-minute walk away.

The place was amazing, with a very nice view to the beautiful town and the harbour! The rooms were well equpped and warm, comfortable and clean. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel itself is very well maintained, it offers a lot of information and the design inside was very nice.
Higly recommend!
P. S. If you have enjoyed the movie "Eurovision", in the bar next to the hotel (which is named after the famous song from the movie - ja ja ding dong), there is a museum with an exibition of the props and on the other side of the entrance of the hotel, you can find the little elf houses fron the movie, very cute. I think the exibition will be there for 2 more years (this info needs to be double checked though). Opening hours are strange, so make sure you give a call to make sure when when a visit will be possible.
Featuring free WiFi and a barbecue, Skógar Sunset Guesthouse offers accommodation 13 km from Húsavík. Each self-catering studio features a kitchen with a stove top, microwave and fridge.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location, incredibly bad road there, but that enhances the exclusiveness. Met two returning customers, they love the place as we did. Really nice staff. Passive but "there" and chatted when we wanted to.
Our best location in Iceland. We can highlight location by the sea with a charming sunsets, stylish wooden sail rooms with romantic views, great shared lounge (with huge window) and kitchen, wash and dry machines (even with a powder), small present by owner (postcard), you can buy here wine, beer (selfservice) and we were able to see the aurora lights for two nights. Add close to Husavik location (Whale watching, hot spa bath) and you have the top of tops here. 😉 Great owner Martin. Hope we come here again.
The location and atmosphere are incredible. A truly amazing place. The host is excellent. Not 5 star luxury and bring your own supplies, but a very impressive and enjoyable experience in Iceland. Great venue!
The best place we went too during our 2 weeks road trip around Iceland !
You feel like you are alone in the world. We had the greatest chance to be the only guest during the night we stayed there and had the house for ourselves… amazing experience !
Martin is a great host, communication was easy and he gave us precious advices about our trip.
We will definitely come back !
Great place to be! Situated directly at the sea, the place has been carefully renovated and comes with a special flair. We came after the main tourist season was over and had the place to ourselves, which was quite a luxury. The host wasn’t onsite, but we were in touch via the phone and he was very attentive and helpful. Pity we only stayed one night.
