Very cute room, the bed is probably the most comfortable bed we slept in on our vacation in Iceland. The room is not huge so don’t bring too much luggage up to the room! The owner is very friendly & is available to help.

This was a lovely, well equipped guest house. The host was welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive. We enjoyed the camaraderie in the communal kitchen and the opportunity to interact, in passing with fellow travellers. We also enjoyed the location: the proximity to the waterfall and the lake and the quiet calm of the town.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location and the owners are very engaging. Good breakfast and comfy room. The rescued Arctic fox cub was unexpected addition - whilst very cute it was also sad to reflect on the fact that some people still think it is OK to hunt these beautiful creatures.
The owners / hosts were very welcoming and lovely people. It is in a very quiet countryside location but not to far from the local village where there are restaurants and other facilities. There is plenty of kitchen space where you can cook your own food as well as a large communal area with comfortable seating. Our room was comfortable and clean with a Mountain View. Tea and coffee making is available in the kitchen. Great breakfast choice with home made bread.
Huge communal living area with well equipped kitchen and separate area set up with puzzles etc.
Comfortable beds. Very quiet. Fun to see the baby arctic fox which had been rescued.
This hotel is essentially a working farm. Horses, sheeps and lambs are the primary products. The highlight of this establishment is the friendliness of the staff. Having breakfast in the morning was like eating in your own kitchen and having quiet conversations with friends and family. They also provided guidance to find the local puffin population.
Standard Icelandinc wood floors and cleanliness.
The property owners were great hosts... provided us with a lot of local knowledge of the area and the property. Also history of Iceland. Gave us great travel tips. Lovely North European breakfast with fresh home made bread, jams and produce.
very spacious, great location and view, well supplied
