B&Bs in Ansedónia

We loved the location. It was in the country, peaceful and serene place to be after a long day of touring. Our hostess was wonderful. we shared that we had to leave early and would miss breakfast. She had take away prepared for us to grab and go.

The property owner was charming and very helpful in terms of learning the lay of the land in Monte Argentario. Breakfast each day at her bar was also just perfect. The property was cleaned every day and the smaller size suited the two of us. The location was also a bonus as it was situated right within Porto Ercole making everywhere a quick walk to get to.

Beautiful property and well maintained

Everything was great, from the welcoming fireplace that Erico constantly fed to the comfortable and spotless room, healthy breakfast (don't miss the seasonal juices!), and fantastic view.

Clean, comfortable, bathroom new

B&B Corso Italia 58, in Orbetello is located on the Corso in the city center, in a ZTL (zona traffico limitato). The town has some very narrow streets. One can park briefly along the lungomare, to bring luggage, on foot to the B&B. We were provided with a parking permit for the lungomare from the B&B. The B&B itself has stairs only, no lift, to B&B’s entrance on the second floor, with interior stairs to a spacious room with plenty of storage. One radiant heater kept the room warm. Paola our hostess, runs the B&B single handed. She is knowledgable and resourceful. She was able to contact a frequently closed ceramics shop and have the proprietors open up for us and we happily purchased some lovely pieces. Our stay was in January, where we found the town without crowds and left to the local population who are very fun, friendly and welcoming. Orbetello is very useful-full of independent shops-including a movie theater, 5 min. from our door. The lungomare is nicely kept and essentials can be found at the Conad store, or the covered market that has oil & wine on tap, fresh fruit, spices, salumi, vegetables and more. For dining out, we highly recommend Pizzaria Tre Stelle, a friendly and reasonable priced establishment. For breakfast, the B&B featured a “sweet” (pastries) breakfast, good coffee, fruit flavored yogurt, but no savory foods. Our room had a comfortable bed, but could use a brighter ceiling light, more hooks in the bathroom, higher bedside tables, an extra luggage rack and art on the walls. _______________________________________________________________________________

Perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable, cute, and right in town.

Staff and location were very good.

The owner is a super nice lady. she is so welcoming, educated person, always smiley, she even ought me special food for the breakfast because I mentioned that I am allergic. the place is nice, clean, with a feel home atmosphere. I recommend it for anyone would like to visit Orbetello.
