The apartment has old rustic charm but is modern too. The communication with the staff was excellent, from booking up until arrival. The location is very central in Tirano and there are lots of shops, cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. There's also an elevator which is handy not only for luggage but the convenience if you are on the upper floors.
It's also a very easy walk from the train station and the Bernina Express.
Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We could not have asked for a better hotel experience. It was the most charming, truly authentic Italian experience you could imagine - like out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. The hotel amenities were updated and new - very clean and well kept, but at the same time the actual hotel building is centuries old and the owners have done an amazing job at keeping all of the historic charm intact. The stone walls and wood beams... and the way the hotel lobby is decorated all lend themselves to feeling like you are stepping back in time (in a good way). The rooms had big shutters that would swing open into the courtyard (that the owners set up for outdoor activities like basketball) and also allowed views of the charming porches/walkways outside of each floor that were decorated with lights and festive charm. AND - as if all of that were not enough, the owner showed up how to go up onto the rooftop terrace and then walk up the side of the mountain for sweeping views of the town below, the alps, and the stars. It was truly amazing - all of it!
The breakfast served downstairs was complete (cheeses and meats, pastries, cereals, yogurts, juices) and they had a full coffee bar where he would make you as many individual cappuccinos (or other coffee drinks) that you could want. The service was remarkable and Andrea made you feel like you were old friends he was hosting.
I also have to say something about the location - prime! Easy walking to to the train station (Bernina Express to The Swiss Alps!), shopping, churches, winery and fabulous Italian restaurants - and you got to all of that by walking from the hotel through the cozy network of street passageways that would open up to fountains, and wine bars, and all other sorts of treats for the eyes. We were only there one night and a part of a day and wish we had booked it for longer. A true gem of place!

The family was very accomodating! Extremely hospitable and helped us with local suggestions. Their property was new, and clean, and worked great for us. Can't stop thinking about the freshly made pie for breakfast each day!

The owners were super helpful and welcoming.
We loved the terrace and the view over the valley! We could eat our lunch there when we arrived, and our breakfast was also served outside. We could decide what we wanted for breakfast and when, and it all was very delicious. Very practical to have access to a kitchen. The room was exactly what we needed. Comfy bed, spacious bathroom.

Everything was perfect!
The quality of the home is great, and the owner Simona makes sure she is contactable, having her mobile number placed at the doors. The apartment is so close to the train station (like around 150m).. Tip: Don't follow Google map as it shows you walking a big loop up to 600m
The home renovated well with good taste and high quality.
And even nicely scented so you sense luxury in the air too.
Even her toiletries provided in full size large bottles are good quality (love especially the hand cream) this is far better than those property who give you miniature bottles that create waste in packaging.
Kitchen is equipped with coffee capsules, tea, and some light crackers for breakfast though the booking is does not come with breakfast.
There is also full fridge, cooker, cutleries, etc....

For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
Very friendly staff, great location - close to Tirano, the Swiss border, and Bormio - and the view of Valtellina is just stunning. The Trattoria is delicious and affordable. Fresh ingredients and local delicacies - highly recommend the Valtellina set menu.
Excellent BnB in quiet, village location close to Tirano. Nice rooms, good sized bathrooms, and very good selection for breakfast. Host family were perfect hosts. Definitely recommend for anyone staying in the area.
