It was enchanting ( the only word I can think of). This old building which has been renovated in the middle of similar looking homes, in the mountain, in the rain you felt like you were in a fairytale. The room was huge with high ceilings and large beams. The antique furniture and cool touches like: an old door used as the headboard, bathroom mirror is an old window, the bathroom door is an old door they have put mirrors in the panels; everything looked like it was done tastefully. Clean, comfortable, warm. Our wonderful host made a great breakfast and set out a massive spread of pastries, fresh bread, cheeses, local cold cuts, yogurt and granola. She made us eggs and coffee. The breakfast area is downstairs with a beautiful fireplace (which she had going) and parts of the original building exposed adding to the charm. It was an amazing experience and we are so happy to have accidentally found it. I would stay here longer to disconnect in a heart beat. Enrica, thank you for your lovely hospitality.

It was very quiet as it is in the middle of nowhere. We had a good sleep. Very original church next to the hotel. Plenty of parking space available. You can have a dinner if you you like.

We looked for a place closed to the BLS car train in Iselle to pass early in the morning to Switzerland. We came in the evening from Milan by car. Gabrielle messaged me in advance and was expecting us. He showed us the room and also gave us many tips if we would like to have dinner. The place was more than we even expected from a small hotel in Italy and was loveley renovated. Good shower and a big room with 2 beds and a coffee machine.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here in the double room with private shower. The room is cute and charming with a beautiful mountain view. Having an espresso on the balcony overlooking the mountains was the highlight. Piera was very friendly and patient despite a language barrier. We left our bags here overnight while we went hiking - a lovely vacation in the Italian Alps accessible by train!
