The owners are beatiful people: welcoming, caring and very friendly. Happily suggesting destinations, giving trip tips. Breakfast was professional (11 points out of 10) and it can be varied by individual needs. They do more for you than you would expect. Nice, well maintained pool. Quiet neighbourhood, no traffic in it's street, parking right in front of the house.

The room we got (No 2) is huge, light and airy, being newly renovated with its own independent keycode entry from the side of the building which has a river running parallel to it. The style is a perfect blend of rustic and modern with a beautiful big fireplace. The recessed lighting in it gives the room a really nice atmosphere. The king size bed and walk in shower are both fabulous, and the room is equipped with a mini fridge, kettle, coffee machine, cups and although breakfast is not provided at this B&B, bottled water, tea bags, coffee pods, a lovely individually wrapped cake from the owner's son's bakery, toasts, jams & nuttela are thoughtfully provided for each morning on the eve during Antonietta the cleaner's visit. Whatever has been used is replenished. Communication with Marisa the owner is very effective and easy and we loved chatting with her. She told us the room was previously part of a restaurant and about turning it into an additional room for the B&B. Parking is available both in front of the property and nearby for free. The cute historic town centre is only a couple of minutes walk away. We would happily stay at La Dogana again!

Beautiful place. High level of comfort in the rooms and in the building in particular, high quality construction, friendly staff. I was passing through and could not enjoy the main advantages of this place - agriculture and proximity to the beach.
