Our host’s hospitality was wonderful, and increasingly rare these days only was our suit impeccable appointed, but a her B & B(are you kidding) was replaced by an R for room and B for breakfast, a generous with many options, some prepared upon request. The location allowed easy access to most of the rich trove of Byzantium inflected mosaics which drew us to the city.

The location is very convenient, right at the edge of the historic center and the pedestrian zone, within easy distance to all historic sites, yet easily accessible when driving. The house has magnetic charm - it is tastefully and very personally decorated and makes one feel like a guest of the family rather than a hotel customer. The owner and the staff we met are all very personable and accommodating. We were almost sorry we had to leave!

Spacious and comfortable room. Great breakfast with many choices. Host was gracious and accommodating. I was stunned by the beauty of the mosaics, they should not be missed. Lots of shops with in the little town and very good food choices.

This place was fantastic. Anna was extremely helpful when we checked in. She gave us a map, and drew on the map to communicate all the things we needed to know, especially a good restaurant and place to get ice cream. She was generous to show us around the beautiful property and explain everything to us. It was great to have breakfast outdoors in a shaded area when it was not too hot yet. The art pieces on the walls were incredible, and it felt like we were in a museum.

Exceeded all expectations! The apartment was absolutely beautiful. Clean, great bathrooms, and a view of the courtyard. The best part was the location, right across from San Vitale. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
