The balcony was a great surprise for us -- we didn't know we'd have one, and it was large and had a great view. The building itself is charming -- old Venetian classical style, furnished in turn-of-the-century style (19th to 20th c), with a couple of very nice patios to sit on. Great location close to the Vaporetto, but on a quiet street with a charming garden in a beautiful neighbourhood. A short boat trip to the Biennale at Giardini and Arsenale, charming Guidecca and wherever you want to explore the beauty of Venice and the lagoon. Moreover a short walk to the beach.
