This place and surroundings have values on their own right comparable to the aforesaid places. It certainly deserves attention, with charming agroturismo places, nestled hidden gems. Unfortunatley if you are after Siena etc it is a good 80 minutes drive from Pomarance because of the winding twisting roads. Beautiful view. The apartment is fully equipped. Amedeo is very friendly and open. It was just a pleasure to be there. And we know, it's not the last time 😊 Also the small town of Pomarance, where the Il Torino is placed in, is worth giving a chance, and take a lazy evening walk through. Grocerie store is on the same street, also a bar with ok pizzas. Amedeo was great, he gave us directions and information on where to look for the best wine. Apartment was basic but comfortable and had all we needed. Each room has a terrace with a table. Absolutely amazing food in the restaurant on site. Best tomatoes ever from the chef- Grazie mille. Supermarket 5mins drive from the property. My son loved the swings in the garden and the friendly dogs.
