We loved SO much about this location. We had a car, which was helpful for a short trip to Venice, and then on to Trieste. The hosts were just wonderful and OH MY the breakfast was incredible. The AC was cold, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet.

The atmosphere of the historic building was superb. We also liked the location, right in the centre, lots of good restaurants nearby. The host was responsive and friendly, ready to give reccommendations. Everything was clean. Very interesting building, and the penthouse room had an unconventional layout while being still comfortable.

Very easy check in process, all details provided before arrival. Bathroom was separate from the room but it was private with a key so not too big of an issue. Shower was almost too small to fit. Bedroom was large and clean, very comfortable.

Good location, Venice can be easy reached by car. Very nice and friendly host lady, the room with the Italian charm was big and clean. The breakfast was good. And ... when we left we got a little present from the host lady...traditional Venetian biscuits. Super good!
