Such a pleasant and charming place! The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel at home throughout our stay. We especially loved the delicious breakfast—such a perfect start to the day.

This is a family homestay, so we got to interact with a lovely family who did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The location is brilliant - directly across the road from the Dambulla cave temples. Our room, and the facilities, were simple, but very clean. There was a small ensuite with toilet and shower. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and dinner was also cooked for us for a small extra charge. Our hosts arranged for a local driver to take us to Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya, and he was fabulous - taking us to lesser known temples as well as to the more popular sights. He also drove us to Kandy (our next stop) for a very reasonable price - stopping along the way for photo opps. SA Village was a wonderful opportunity for us to spend time with a family and learn more about Sri Lankan culture.
Located just 2.7 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiri Close-up View Guest features accommodation in Sigiriya with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a 24-hour front desk.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. They cooked us a beautiful dinner and arrange a safari. The facilities were basic but fine for two nights. The location is off the beaten track so will need a driver or Tuktuk rather than walking.

This was the best homestay I had in my time in Sri Lanka. The location is incredible - right in the main area and I walked to Lions Rock and Pidurangala Rock from here. There's also loads of great restaurants and bars right on the street, yet the property is just far enough away to be quiet and peaceful at night. The room is modern, clean and has everything you need - the mini-fridge is particularly useful! The hosts are incredibly kind, friendly, and gave great recommendations of places to eat. He also arranged an elephant safari for me at Hurulu Eco Park which I would highly recommend. I can't recommend this homestay enough if you want to spend a few days in Sigiriya, and want Western-style comforts. Final thing - the breakfasts were epic!
Located in Sigiriya and only 1.9 km from Sigiriya Rock, The Cattleya Guest House Sigiriya provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The quality of the accomodation is simply sensational. The location, view, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast, attention to detail are top notch. You can see the rock from the garden. Ashoka is the most welcoming and caring host. The breakfast on the patio was really special as monkeys and mongoose paid the visit. :) Totally recommended!
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The environment was calm and peaceful, rooms were amazing with the AC and a private bathroom. Staffs was friendly and hospitality was nice. Even though the stay was bed and breakfast we had our lunch and dinner. All foods were freshly cooked and more then enough. Hope to stay again at Kanit Sigiriya
