This spot is perfect for everything. Quite and yet a quick boat ride to the city which was only 3euros. The owners of the property went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Always very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay here again and recommend anyone wanting a wonderful experience in Kalkara to do the same. Thankyou for making a visit a very memorable one.

The hotel is very cute and authentic, located in an old building next to a cathedral. It is decorated in the old fashion and it truly has a spirit, it is a nice respite from bland modern hotels and apartments that are all too common today. What we absolutely loved the most was the breakfast as well as the rooftop terrace on which its's possible to have breakfast - drinking coffee in a morning sun, while looking at the beautiful cathedral in the background - just perfect. It is an experience we will never forget! The room was small but had everything you need for a short stay. The furniture was a bit old and weathered (all wood) but it added to the whole feel of the hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful, especially the gentleman whose name we unfortunately didn't get to know, but he was the guy handling most things, from check-in to serving breakfast. The location may seem far away from the more touristy places in Malta, but with the efficient Maltese public transport, it is actually quite close. Once you get on a bus (bus stop is right across the street) you're in Valletta in around 10 minutes, and in Mdina in around 25.

The location is excellent, close to bus stop and many seafood restaurants, there is sea view from Balcony. Host is super friendly and helpful. The room is well equipped. The terrace gave an excellent view over the village seaside!

We were made very welcome to this immaculate and well-positioned residence. The reality of heritage buildings is stairs, no problem for us. The area is fascinating, dripping with history. Then the ferry into Valetta is a few steps away, so one can experience all of the city but still be able to escape the crowds back at the B&B. There are bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is perfect, and the roof terrace has a great ambience and wonderful views.
