The location in the central town of Rabat gets you away from the noise of the coastal towns and the more touristy, walkable Mdina, but there are frequent buses everywhere. Some great little restaurants in the back streets. The hotel room is spacious and clean, comfortable, and with all facilities, there's a pool and sun terraces. It's adult only, quiet, and there were singles and couples of all ages. Big breakfast choice. The building is beautifully restored, and you can read all about the history. Continental breakfast available. They kindly held luggage until check in time. It was private and quiet. Also the town itself is charming with lots of cute places to eat and drink. Nice restaurants nearby, a few stores, bakery, butcher… You can reach everything in Rabat and Mdina by foot in no more than 10-15 minutes. The apartment had heating/ AC and was very spacious and Donna was a great host with lots of tips and quick to respond to questions we had.
