I got a private balcony since I was a solo female traveler- so sweet of them, made me feel special, room was nice, everything worked I am not a breakfast eater - a couple of days I went off with no breakfast- but got a baguette with me so I would not go hungry - how sweet and caring is that? A couple of days I did have breakfast - yummy and so plentiful it could feed a small army - they just want the best for you

The apartment occupies the upper floor of a private house. Small parking area for one car at the front. Very friendly and chatty hosts. Large, two bedroom apartment with big rooms, nicely decorated. There is a large verandah although because this is west facing it does get very hot in the afternoon. It was exceptionally hot and humid when we were there (Feb 2025) and although the bedrooms had aircon (which worked perfectly) there were no fans elsewhere in the apartment or verandah - this would have made a big improvement to comfort in hot weather. The apartment is located across the road from a small beach. Handy location for climbing Morne Brabant mountain (about 4 km to the start of the trail).

Gite des Acacias is located in Carreau Acacias, just 2 km away from Le Bouchon Beach. The bed and breakfast has an outdoor pool.

Welcoming atmosphere and a delicious dinner. Probably the best we had on Mauritius! Perfect place for one night when you need to go back to the airport. The early-breakfast option was great.

I needed a place with free airport shuttle because I made my reservation for my partner who was travelling from Malaysia to South Africa and had an overnight stop in Mauritius and don’t have my credit card with her, so I specifically searched for that. This accommodation came in results offering free airport shuttle. I carefully read the description where again it says “offered g free Laskovicsne g and free airport shuttle. When I request that they replied that €16 and it’s not free. I asked how can I pay for that, but they haven’t replied at all! I booked accommodation elsewhere where they truly have a free airport shuttle, and don’t lie in their advertising. This place is run by scammers with misleading advertisements and false information.

We spent two nights at the property with my family and had a great stay. Lena gave us a warm welcome, showed us around, and even helped with mosquito spray. Pascale made our kids' day by showing them how to feed the fish and chickens—such a thoughtful touch! Overall, the place was very clean and offered great value for money.
