Everything was good Bandipur is a nice pictures town and worse a visit, we stayed 3 days. Taxi up from Dumre is around 600, local Bus 100. There is a new cable car 🚠 going up, would be a good choice too.

What a wonderful place this is! Our room was very small, but that was made up for by how cozy it was. The house is 100 years old, but carefully and tastefully renovated. The hotel is located in the middle of the main street. By living here, you also support five local schools, as the profit goes to running them.

Hotel Old Inn is a very nice place, where the style of old Newari houses has been very well preserved. There are of course some drawbacks to this deliberate choice, but which were not a problem to us: rooms are not very large, they are a bit dark, and equipment is limited (no TV set for example). But again, we like and support this choice. The staff is nice and efficient. Having breakfast on the terrace facing the mountains is wonderful, and we also had a very nice (but small) balcony with Himalaya view adjacent to our room. Be aware that the hotel is on Bandipur bazaar, which is a pedestrian-only area. We had heavy luggage, but our driver called the hotel and hotel staff came to help us carry our luggage to hotel while we were walking. And they also helped us in the same way when we departed Bandipur.

comfy bed, big breakfast, i stayed in a other place bevore and i can say himchuli was more quiert than the other one because of barking dogs at night.

This lovely homestay is run by an adorable family who will do their best to make you feel like home. The rooms and the bathroom are super clean with wonderful mattress and nice views to the mountains or to the village. It is just 5 minutes walk to the cable car and you have everything you need nearby. The breakfast was included and the price of the room is unbeatable! Choosing a homestay is the best thing you can do as a traveller because you support the local families and you get to know better the local life. I had a very good and relaxed stay in this place and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for accommodation in the beautiful village of Bandipur!

Perfect location for exploring the town of Gorkha! The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable! The staff/owners are so so lovely and very welcoming! The breakfast downstairs in the bakery is delicious!! And they have a very cute little dog

    After Pokhara I longed for a quiet stay and Depche delivered! I stayed for three nights and it was so relaxing. Amit is a wonderful person and the most helpfull host. I felt really like home in here, my room was beautiful with a private balcony and the breakfast was very good.

    The room had a nice sunny balcony (the side opposite to the road), it was quiet, hot shower, breakfast was the type you always get but it was good (toast and eggs), I also had lunch there and it was really good! The staff was also very nice and helpful, the owner even helped me get a taxi for a cheaper price. I would highly recommend!

    Lovely hotel just out of the mountain village of Bandipur. It is a short walk from the road across raised paths and the friendly staff help you with luggage, which is fantastic. The hotel is best described as quaint, with a beautiful vibe. The views of the Himalayas are amazing and we were able to sit on the roof terrace eating the excellent breakfast with the view in the background. All in all, a really great hotel.

    Very nice place, quiet and good located. Even though Bandipur is a very small village, it is located in the middle between the city center and 5min walk sunrise viewpoint. The staff is also very nice.

    The location was great, very quiet, great view from the rooms/balcony to the Himalaya mountains. It was a 5-10min walk from the centre of the village, but easy to walk. The host was very kind and gave great advice on activities and organized a private transport at short notice. Breakfast was continental and tasty.

    This family run homestay is newly opened, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I need not have had any concerns, as the family were excellent hosts and I learnt a lot about local culture. Fantastic views from the balcony and rooftop terrace. Great location, very near centre, but in a quiet side road. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Clean comfortable room. I also did their Cheese Tasting experience which was very interesting. I wish I could have stayed longer than one night!

    The guesthouse is in a great location near Bandipur main street with lots of cosy little restaurants and shops. Yet, the place is really quiet with a stunning view on the valley and mountains. The host is super helpful. We had a lot of troubles reaching the place due to a nightmare bus journey, and he went out of his way to get us to Bandipur safely while we were stuck on the road nearly two hours away.
