The location right on the river was fabulous- surrounded by wildlife. Each bedroom
Hut had their own little balcony looking out and there were plenty of seats around the property to chill out on and watch the wildlife go by. Although it is a more basic property it was undoubtably value for money and my room was totally comfortable.

My partner an I booked two nights in this hotel an got actually in the other hotel from the manager, the hotel national park, which was a little outside of the city. It was really nice there, the stuff was super friendly, the room was nice and clean an the food was also very tasty. We booked a safari from the hotel, it was guided by the hotel stuff and very good and with a lot of information. The first night that we where there, there was a wild elefant and a rhino direktly outside of the hotel.

A comfortable Hotel/Resort. Great location close to national park entry point. Staff were exceptional. Cooked Breakfast was good, made fresh on the spot. We arranged thru the hotel both a 1 day safari and morning bird watching. The guide was fantastic and personable. The pool has a great view over Chitwan national park. We say rhinos, elephants, and crocodiles from a viewing spot 150m walk from the hotel entrance.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
We spent a wonderful time in Hotel National Park. Suraj is an amazing host. He arranged our trek in Sauhara and always treated us as his brother and his sister.
We also had the chance to do a sunset walk with Thikak Tharu. This guide has a deep knowledge of the jungle and speaks English very well ⭐️
I highly recommend this charming place if you are passing through Sauhara
My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was worth the money. Everyone is friendly, especially the owner, who does everything to help you. They helped us book tours, and the establishment + tours are cheaper than if you were to book them as a tour from Kathmandu. I’d recommend the room with AC, because it’s hot. Despite the occasional power outage, everything was good.
The location is perfect, quiet and calm, but close to the center if you wanna hangout for dinner. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The staff is incredible, always smiling and giving you advices or help to organize your activities in Chitwan National park. The park itself is gorgeous and the jungle walk is definitely one of the highlights !
Wondeful setting, The resort is a couple of kilometres from the town in a quiet rural setting. The resort has been built to a very high standard, The main main of the resort has a spacious reception area, where we were greeted with fruits Juice whilst we checked in. We were show to a bungalow by very helpful and eager to please hotel staff. The bungalow was spacious and layout of the room was tastefully laid out. There was a big swimming pool, next to a lake which was beautiful.
Lovely hotel setup with individual room ‘cabins’ arranged around the lake, with an abundance of birds. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. Very attentive staff. Great breakfast and good food at the restaurant. Wonderful pool overlooking the lake. The location is slightly outside the hustle and bustle of Sauraha but easy to get a cheap Tuktuk to and from the centre. It’s a relatively new hotel, hence only having a few reviews on here, so don’t be put off by that!
Chital Lodge is simple yet utterly charming. I wasn’t sure whether to go for it as I had the budget to be a little more extravagant, but I’m so glad I did. The energy of the place is incredible credibly sweet and relaxed. I took the jungle keep your and full day safari which are well worth it.
Everything is very well thought out and the cooking was amazing! Some of the best food of my entire trip.
Chital lodge is a very nice place, far away from the crowds. It is operated by Bishnu Bhusal who runs the place together with his lovely wife. Bishnu is also the guide who takes you in to the park by foot, jeep or by boat. He has lived here all his life and can tell you a lot about the animals and nature inside the park. Moreover the prices for safaris and excursions are quite cheap. If you want to have a real chance in meeting the true animals of Chitwan, my advice is to book Chital Lodge in Meghauli.
