Beautiful location. Quiet but handy to town. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The facilities were very clean and guests are very well provided for. Delicious choice for breakfast. Their well manered dog, Mia, is a delight. We would highly recommend a stay ay Fantail Hill.

    Well set out and fully equipped with everything you need, Sky TV, very, very clean and nice warm. Comfy beds and super warm bedding supplied for the cold nights. Barry was a great host and even took our boys out to feed the chickens, bringing home fresh eggs for breakfast. The outdoor area is really great for kids to play in and adults to relax.

    The location was perfect for our purposes (an appointment in the Maramarua Forest). It would also be excellent for those interested in the birds at the Pukorokoro Bird Centre just down the road and for those looking for a comfortable stay in a rural setting. Being remote, it is a quiet location. Our host was lovely. She couldn't have been friendlier and provided a hearty breakfast. She also provided us with binoculars for our visit to the bird centre.
