Very friendly host. We received a warm welcome after our long journey from the UK. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful garden and outside seating area to enjoy. We wish we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding. It was super close to our wedding venue, with stunning views and nice quiet. Merrilies was lovely, and we enjoyed meeting Mickey the pup. There is a clock in the lounge, which chimes often, but sleep buds helped block it out.

    Peace and quiet of the countryside. Barbara is an amazing hostess and did all she could to make our stay pleasant. Her personal touch to make each breakfast special. Nice room with en suite bathroom and comfortable bed.

    We were welcomed from the minute we arrived. Barbara was a great host and made us feel most welcome. The room was exceptional with a lot of personal touches to it. You could see in the room how proud she was to share it and have people stay. Breakfast was also exceptional and cooked there and then by Barbara. Would stay there again when travelling over to NZ. It was a small drive into the Rolleston where there was plenty of restaurants to choose from for dinner.

    The most charming place. While I travelled on work it was like going home at the end of the day. And a very beautiful home at that. The room, furniture and interiors are beautiful done. Barbara is such a wonderful host.

    Chateau Pritchard is an outstanding boutique B&B. The hosts,Barbara and Neville, are an interesting lovely couple. The Alpacas outside, Fergus the ‘soppy’ English Sheepdog and the superb breakfast all added to the special ambience. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to other prospective guests.
