We had a really lovely stay at Ononui lodge! We arrived at the airport in the evening, and spent the night in Papeete until our flight to Bora Bora in the morning. This lodge was perfect for us. It was a quick taxi ride from the airport to here, it cost about 2400 XPF (make sure you have cash for the taxi ride). The room was nice and cool when we arrived, and it was very cute. The day before our stay, we were texted a video to get to our rooms, which was super helpful. The owner reached out about our departing flight for the next day, and scheduled a taxi for us for pick up the following morning. That was perfect to have a taxi waiting for us in the morning to go to the airport. We even got to meet the neighbor dog that was cute and friendly. Overall, I am very glad we chose to stay at Ononui lodge.

This was a perfect place to stay overnight for my very early flight. There was plenty of room in the sitting room and kitchen area, but part of the room iwas not air conditioned and the sun was hitting that part of the room when I arrived in the afternoon. The bedroom was very large and air conditioned and the bed was super comfortable.The toilet is right next to the bed but there's a small sliding door sliding wall that separates the toilet from the bedroom. The host drove me to the airport I really appreciated how kind and supportive she was.
