Set in Ciudad del Este and only 17 km from Itaipu, CENTRAL PARK CDE offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

We were very happy to arrive at the Central Park hotel after a slightly worrying journey over the border. We received a very warm welcome, comfortable room, lovely breakfast and our host was so kind to drive us to our bus stop the following morning, also giving good advice on our visit to Asuncion. Very safe and modern shopping mall and food court just next door which was very welcome after our journey. If you are unsure where to stay and need a comfortable place in Ciudad del Este, this is perfect. English speaking too. Thank you for your warm welcome to Paraguay.

Located just 18 km from Itaipu, Hummingbird Hostel features accommodation in Ciudad del Este with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a tour desk.

Nice and quiet hostel with a nice outdoor area to sit, supermarket very nearby as well. The host speaks perfect English and able to give you suggestions/help with border crossing or anything you might need.

The staff, especially Julieta, she was extremely helpful and kind! She made our stay very pleasant and wonderful. The hotel is nice and clean! The view is amazing. We hope to come back soon in the future.

    It was private and isolated, yet central. Super cosy and the owners could not be more accommodating. I was travelling from Puerto de Iguazu to CDE, they kept checking with me how i was doing and when my bus from Foz was cancelled and I got effectively stranded, they’d offered to drive to Brazil and collect me. Amazing, kind people!

    Clean and comfortable hotel in a nice area of Ciudad del Este. Staff was super friendly. Private parking is included on site. A Padel court is located just next to the hotel and we booked a slot on very short notice.

    I would recommend staying at Hummingbird Hostel! It is clean and comfortable, basic, but has everything you need. It is not directly in the city center, but there are still restaurants and stores within minutes walking. It is a quiet hostel with few backpackers, but it met my expectations. The best part of the hostel is the owner, Silvia! She is delightful. She shared with me many recommendations for Paraguay. She even went above and beyond by driving me to the bus stop to my next city. I really appreciate Silvia's kindness!
