Very nice and cozy boutique hotel. we stayed there on our way to Schladming from Vienna. Melk was a very small and well situated town. The building, the room were amazing. The breakfast was all we needed, great coffee and croissants. There was no staff greeting you but there is also no need, the room was ready for us.

Has a very relaxed feel about it. The owner also runs the winery and restaurant next door. He is very friendly and personable and he was there at breakfast talking to the guests. It’s almost like you’re his personal guest. The breakfast food quality was excellent. The rooms are retro but comfortable. There are generous public areas.

Great location (close to the highway, but still quiet), wonderful rooms with modern equipment, and the staff is very nice and helpful. We loved everything here :)

Housed in a historic building, Landhaus-furth8 provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi in Furth, 40 km from Melk Abbey. Beautiful place amongst wineyards with the scenery of baroque abbey Gottweig. It felt like a nice gentle touch of Provence by Danube. We've been served true home made breakfast, grape marmelade was excellent. We were lucky to stay during wine tasting weekend in some of the Wachau valley, then the evening with bottle of local wine in front of our rooms was charming. Great place to stay. The owner is great in hospitality, helpfulness and she recommended us other nice places to visit. Thank you.

The hosts provided us with restaurant recommendations for dinner. Also, their breakfast was great. I would stay here again.
