We had a small independent room with bathroom and a great view on the lake and the mountains, really fantastic! The view alone was worth the price! The breakfast was good and the wifi connection stable. The owners are super kind and helpful. They can prepare dinner if you ask for it in advance, we were always satisfied with the quality.

The staff were wonderful. The breakfast was made to order. I had a great view of the lake from my room, and I especially liked it that my room had donkeys next to it. If you arrive from the Sun temple, it’s not bad to get to, but of course, like all properties, coming from the Yumani port, it’s a an uphill adventure against altitude. If you want to go to Las Velas, it’s the perfect location because it is the closest accommodation. Since may be walking through the forest on your way back and need a flashlight, it’s very easy to find your way back. It’s also on the way to one of the lookout points from which it’s about 10 minutes to get there. The path to it continues past Las Velas.

We had a great stay here, the room was clean with a wonderful view. The staff was nice and helpfull and the breakfast really good as well. They even have a really nice room for doing yoga (with yoga mats). I would definitely recommend this place and come again.

Hostal Cultural Bertha Challapampa Isla del Sol parte Norte se nachází v destinaci Comunidad Challapampa v regionu Isla del Sol. Jen 2,4 km odtud je Chinkana and Mama Ojjlla. The hostel is really nice. The room was spacious and very clean. The terrace had sun until late in the afternoon. It was just a few metres from the beach. The host family is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.
