Lovely staff who will take fantastic care of you and and make you feel comfortable! The food is great, and the gardens are just marvellous. You will have your breakfast with an amazing view by the swimming pool. As this is outside Kasane it is very quiet and relaxing, the perfect place to wind down. We even got an upgrade to our rooms and saw lots of elephants from the balcony. We cannot recommend them enough!

Nastanitev POVI Holiday Home se nahaja 8,2 km od znamenitosti Mowana Golf Course in ponuja vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter nastanitvene enote s klimatsko napravo, s teraso in z brezplačnim WiFi. POVI was like being at a family member’s house. You are in a real local neighborhood and Connie is a great hostess. My room was clean and tidied up daily. There was a refrigerator, air conditioning and mosquito net over the bed. Breakfast was served on time daily and I opted for lighter fare (coffee, juice, cereal and fruit). Additional items are available. The location is close to Chobe National Park and the tiny “village” area. I found it refreshing to relax at POVI after days of activities. Connie offered dinners prepared by her chef but I made my own arrangements. I had a car and that makes things easier but small Honda taxis are plentiful in the neighborhood and cheap. Connie is a great resource but modest. I accidentally found out that she has made history and is a pioneer featured in a long New York Times article. She was part of the first team of all-female guides in Botswana. All in all, if you want an authentic local experience and can forego luxury for a short time, POVI is easy on the pocketbook and good for the spirit. It is secure too.
