Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and it became like a Home from Home for us. The Gardens are so nice, and full of beautiful Birdlife. Even when we had a slight issue, it was quickly sorted to our satisfaction. Would happily recommend staying here if you're looking for self catering accommodation in Kasane.

Offering a shared barbecue area and a small swimming pool, Elephant Trail Guesthouse is located in Kasane. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and shared kitchen. Everything was great ! Wonderful tent, swimming pool, safari exceptionnel with a very very very good price ! We saw some leopoards, it was fantastic ! We were a little bit far way from the city but for the best !

Located in Kasane and overlooking the Chobe River, The Old House offers an outdoor pool, garden and a restaurant. Excellent place to stay! Lovely restaurant with exceptional cuisine. Definitely our first choice in the future after staying at many hotels in Kasane.

Objekat Destiny Blo Inn, koji je smešten u gradu Kachikau, na 34 km od znamenitosti Nacionalni park Ngoma Gate Chobe, u ponudi ima smeštaj sa vrtom, besplatnim privatnim parkingom, terasom i barom. The manager and owner of the accommodation was exceptionally helpful and service orientated. We were warmly welcomed and dinner was prepared for us (although we had forgotten to book it). During breakfast and dinner we had very nice conversations with the owner Chimney, which were of great value for the rest of the trip. As an experienced guide from the Chobe region, Chimney was able to give us lots of tips and suggestions. Thanks to his good network, he was also able to spontaneously organise various activities such as a boat trip and a horse riding excursion. I can highly recommend this new accommodation, even if it is in a somewhat rural area. It was perfect for me and my friends as the location allowed us to visit both the north and south of Chobe National Park.

POVI was like being at a family member’s house. You are in a real local neighborhood and Connie is a great hostess. My room was clean and tidied up daily. There was a refrigerator, air conditioning and mosquito net over the bed. Breakfast was served on time daily and I opted for lighter fare (coffee, juice, cereal and fruit). Additional items are available. The location is close to Chobe National Park and the tiny “village” area. I found it refreshing to relax at POVI after days of activities. Connie offered dinners prepared by her chef but I made my own arrangements. I had a car and that makes things easier but small Honda taxis are plentiful in the neighborhood and cheap. Connie is a great resource but modest. I accidentally found out that she has made history and is a pioneer featured in a long New York Times article. She was part of the first team of all-female guides in Botswana. All in all, if you want an authentic local experience and can forego luxury for a short time, POVI is easy on the pocketbook and good for the spirit. It is secure too.
