Breakfast was great in the mornings as we hung out on the balcony. Loved the hammock!! Wifi was great as long as the power was on. It’s in a rural quieter part of capurgana. You definitely get the authentic Colombian experience. We enjoyed are week stay:) I’m gonna miss it and look forward to a return visit:)

We fehlt Like being Home and just had a very great time. We recommend the Jungle hike with Adrian, which was nice but exhausting. he Had a great knowledge about the plants and animals around us. Our room was comfy and Clean and we were able to Here the sea. the food was excellent. we Hope to come Back one day ❤️

Great space, full of green, not far from the port. The family running it were super nice and welcoming. They created a very comfortable atmosphere. The dorms were comfortable and clean. Fans ran on solar, so no problem with the power outages. Away from the noisy areas in the evening.

Monica's place overlooks the beach. The view is absolutely stunning and you can walk down to the beach in seconds or into the village in about 10 minutes. The room was clean and spacious and also had a view of the beach. Plenty of hammocks to relax and enjoy the view and a good book The Pacific coast is one of my favorite places we visited in Colombia and staying in El Valle for the whale watching was convenient. I doubt you'll find a better place or a better host in El Valle who speaks both English and Spanish Thank you Monica 🙌

Sky and Sand si trova a Bahía Solano e mette a disposizione la vista sul mare, un giardino, una zona spiaggia privata, una terrazza e un bar. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was the highlight of my trip to Colombia. The perfect place to stay if you look for tranquility and pure nature. Mecana is such and beautiful beach, and Sky and Sand is the most special place to stay at. Luisa made my stay just perfect. Her smile and love for nature are contagious, and her meals are delicious. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. And the activities offered were a great way to experience everything that Mecana has to offer. I wished I could have stayed longer!
