The host family is extremely friendly and helpful. They made me feel very comfortable and safe, which definitely was one reason why my entire stay in Costa Rica was so good.

I did not handle it well as I'd had a long day and just wanted to take a shower and go to bed. The hosts were more tolerant and gracious than I deserved. The water did return and all was well.
