If you want somewhere authentic, in the local village with great hosts Gloria and Sergio, do not hesitate to book here. Very clean, quiet, ideally situated. We did the night walk/boat with Gloria and Sergio which was amazing, definitely worth doing. If you need a taxi boat or want to do a tour of the canals, go through Owen, their friend. The traditional breakfast was delicious.

Klaus is an amazingly friendly host. He took a lot of time to show us the property, served excellent breakfast and offered dinner and was all around pleasant. The guest house is well built and comfortable. There is a lot of forest in the area that you can probably go hiking in (we haven't tried given the brevity of our stay).

There were so many things we liked about this property, I could write a book. We came to Costa Rica for the wilderness and after visiting La Fortuna and other areas of Costa Rica and seeing no animals we were thrilled when we saw them right on the property. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was amazing, the grounds were like paradise. Love love this place

It is in the middle of the jungle. Very friendly French couple. We saw a monkeys and hummingbirds from our terrace and saw a sloth on the way to the treehouse. One of the best stays in our Costa Rica vacation.
