While the WiFi is typical for Guatemala—not very strong—it’s enough for basic needs around 5-6 Mbps Overall, it’s a wonderful experience for those looking to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the lake and the warmth of local hospitality. Being on San Miguel, you get to have the best view of Flores at all different times of the day surrounded by beautiful plants. Staff are all lovely, especially Noa, who went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy; and the vibe is chilled, relaxed, and easy. It is on a bit of a hill so may not be ideal for people with mobility issues.

XIMEL House se nachází v destinaci Flores a poskytuje pokoje s klimatizací a s bezplatným Wi-Fi. We just had the best time there. Probably the best apartment we had so far on our current travels. The hostess is such a lovely lady and help us out with everything, she even did our washing and offered us to help with booking tours. Everyone travelling to Flores we would absolutely recommend the stay at Ximel House! The house is also right next to the lake, Lanchas right infront of your front door.

Huge, clean, and modern room with AC. Nice hot shower and large bathroom. Huge shared and well equipped kitchen. When we were asking for some oil, they bought some for us in a couple of minutes. Very nice and welcoming guys. Laundry room. Calm area. 8min foot walk to the airport, so perfect if you have an early flight to catch.

Also liked that there was a mounted fan for temperature control, and the room had a good number of outlets for charging devices. Great value for the price, would definitely recommend it to other travelers!

The rooftop terrace was amazing, close by some cute restaurants where you could rent a kayak and explore the lake. Staff was super kind and helpfull. The hostel had also a dog and cat and they loved some cuddles. Very clean place, clean and nice showers and bathrooms. Warm water and perfect water pressure. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Staff were friendly despite our language difficulties; they made contact the day before and on the day I arrived to guide me to the residence. It was good to have a small communal kitchen, ideal for making breakfast and a drinking water dispenser. Nice little rooftop for looking at the river but it could do with a bit of cleaning and rubbish removal. The bed was quite comfortable. I chose an area away from the busy part to get a good sleep and that paid off; it's at the top of the island but only a 6 minute walk back to the island entrance. Note: if you are walking to the apartment, go around the perimeter, not up the middle, which has uneven cobblestones and steep inclines. Staff were quick to fix things when the water stopped working at one stage.
