We loved everything about our stay at Morinda. The room was really nice, spotless clean, and came with an extravagant view over the mountains and river! The beds were so comfy, there’s AC, wifi and warm water. The staff was extremely friendly and always helpful, and the family who owns and runs Morinda was amazing. They gave us so many useful tips and made sure our stay was just perfect. Great location too with tons of things to do (hiking, kayaking, visiting weaving and other villages, waterfalls, beaches…). Only a 20 min drive to town, but really peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend staying at Morinda for a stay in the area/ Waingapu.

As this accommodation is not a luxurious one, located in a poor area of Indonesia, you shouldn't expect the comfort of a modern town, but accept it as it is. The absence of a hot shower and the weak internet connection allow you to disconnect from urban negative energy and to get as close to nature as possible.

Hars garden’s is a jewel in the middle of Sumba. from the perfect hospitality Har gave us along our stay, to the location and view itself up to the cozy sweet little cabins and villas. we were at cloud 9. need less to say the food was really good, the rental bikes were in great condition and Sumba is a magical place. we will definitely come back in a few years.
