We chose Applelea House due to the proximity to the harbour, as we were taking the ferry next morning. Applelea became the cherry on the cake that was our tour of Ireland! Modern, comfortable and both lovingly and luxuriously designed, we felt very well. The supper recommendation was spot on. Our only regrets are that we couldn't stay an extra night and that we didn't have time to enjoy the breakfast. Next time we will!

Everything about this B&B was exceptional! The room was spacious and clean, the location was perfect and very calm, various breakfast options and the host family was very kind and lovely. Would definitely stay there again!!

The owners were wonderfully kind and service-minded. They got up to make a very early (and brilliantly good) breakfast for us. They even offered to drive us down to the ferry. I hope to come back, with more time to stay and enjoy it all.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Woodleigh Lodge. The breakfast was lovely and Sue went above and beyond to facilitate our requirements. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen felt really nice.

We arrived on a lovely sunny day, and as we rounded the bens in the drive, we saw The Railway Hotel on the top of the grass lawn. It looked beautiful. We had ordered a Continental breakfast, and were happily surprised to find scrambled eggs included, which was beautifully cooked.
