Breakfast choice was very good. The view out on to the harbour was really fantastic, smell of salty water and seaweed, just like home. Beautiful dining area. I met the owner of the property, who was really nice to speak with. The staff were great too. The northern lights were just so beautiful.

40 km from Hengifoss in Egilsstadir, Finnstaðir offers accommodation with access to a hot tub and open-air bath. the hosts were very nice.. we had a problem with out car and they lended us some oil. the house was big and nicely furnished and the jacuzzi was prepared uppon arrival

The stunning lake and mountain views are truly exceptional, and it's also conveniently close to the famous little church. I even had the privilege of witnessing the Northern Lights while enjoying a beer on the balcony at night. I believe everyone should definitely not miss this place. By the way, The apartment host is super friendly.
