Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The guest house has just completed a total renovation. Everything is fresh and brand new. Lots of thought has gone into preparing the house as a guest house. The kitchen is very well equiped pus there are two dinning areas, so lots of space. The lounge is cosy with new sofas. Washer and dryer, both high end. 5 rooms, 2 shared bathrooms and a seperate toilet downstairs. We highly recommend this guest house, one of the best. (Plus its so close to the waterfall and canyon, bonus)

Cottage was modern, warm and comfortable. Good kitchen and shared spaces. Setting is also stunning!

There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. the hosts were very nice.. we had a problem with out car and they lended us some oil. the house was big and nicely furnished and the jacuzzi was prepared uppon arrival

The highlight was the balcony, offering breathtaking views of the fjord and surrounding mountains, providing a serene backdrop to our stay. The guesthouse’s central location proved advantageous, with Seyðisfjörður Harbour and the iconic Blue Church just a short stroll away, making it an excellent base for exploring local attractions. The self-check-in process was seamless, allowing us to settle in without delay. Adding to the charm of our stay was a local cat that seemed to own the street. This regal feline often caught the attention of tourists, adding a unique and endearing touch to our experience.

Everything you need for short stay around Egilsstadir. Just note that it is not actually in the city but rather outside. But after speding all th day hiking it is an excellent place to relax and sleep. Also possibilty to watch aurora light from this place are just frew steps away since there are not so many lights around. And you can get nice pastry for breakfast just across the street!

Heated floors in the bathroom, soap and handcream, sweets for the guests on the bed and a very warm and welcoming loving room and kitchen. The view from the room we were in was also just relaxing and romantic with two chairs amongst a tree overlooking rhetorical valley.
