The host Amy is warm, hospitable, informative and speaks perfect English. You have use of the whole 2nd floor and Amy is respectful of your privacy. The neighbourhood was a lovely location to explore Tokyo from and refreshingly quiet and calm after the bustle of the city center. Very close walk to two metro stations and close to restaurants and shops as well. Absolutely perfect.

Jeffery Skytree Residence Tokyo se nachází na výhodném místě ve čtvrti Sumida Ward v destinaci Tokio. Absolutely delightful experience staying here and will try to book the same room again next time! Room was very spacious. The twin room was clearly a standard Japanese studio apartment with a lovely small kitchen and big bathroom and shower room. The room was very comfy and clean. It had all the amenities that we needed for our 2 week stay. I was so grateful they had an iron and ironing board, and they even had 2 umbrellas which was very useful! There was also plenty of storage space in the closet for a few large luggage and plenty of hangers to organize our clothes. The location is also fantastic. Just far away enough from all the noise and traffic of high tourist area, but also extremely convenient in terms of transportation to just about anywhere in Tokyo. Oshiage Station and Tokyo Skytree Station are both only 10 minutes walk away that easily connected us to the rest of Tokyo. Otherwise, there are plenty of convenient bus lines less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel that takes you everywhere else.

Tetsuji and Yoko were amazing hosts! They were the kindest couple! The sleeping rooms were beautiful with tatami mat floors and rice paper screens. We went in the winter, so it was a bit cold, but the room comes with a kotatsu table (low table with a built in heater and blanket) and it was amazingly cozy. The view from the room is also incredible, overlooking a ravine with a rushing river. In the morning the made us a delicious breakfast of rice, soup, salted fish, mountain yam and an assortment of other goodies for only ¥1000! They have cats on premise, fyi if you’re allergic, they were only with us at breakfast (obviously not in our rooms) but they are such sweet kitties! From Tersuji and Yoko, to the cozy vibes, to the attentiveness and care - It was like being taken care of by my own grandparents!

The Galaxy Guest house offers you an amazing experience in the coziest place I have ever been to in Japan. The hosts are excellent and both speak perfect English. The house is equipped with a gorgeous shower, the beds are so comfortable, the rooms are spacious and the common area makes you feel right at home. The island is a perfect getaway from the busy city life and is a great place to recharge both physically and mentally! And the hosts will make you feel right at home!

Guesthouse toco se nachází v Tokiu a nabízí bar a výhled do zahrady. 500 metrů od ubytování je Chosho-ji Temple. Super friendly staff. Nice traditional guesthouse. Bar is nice. Beds are comfy (for bunk beds). Close to JR and metro. Will definitely come back here again.

Komatsuya se nachází na výhodném místě ve čtvrti Sumida Ward v destinaci Tokio. Tokyo Skytree se nachází 500 metrů daleko, Mimeguri Shrine 600 metrů a Ushijima Shrine 500 metrů. The hostel owner was extremely kind, and made conversation with me despite the language barrier. There is a small communal area where you can heat up your food and listen to records - I enjoyed doing that extremely much!
