The highlight of our stat in Jambo House is Arnold, its owner. He is doing a great job, responds quickly, provides airport pickup, shares a map with all the useful tips and nice places to eat and is at your service if you need to book any kind of trip around Lamu. Furthermore, the breakfast here are lovely and for a bargain price, so definitely don't miss out on them ! In the room, we had all we needed, and it was very quiet, so we slept very well! We will be back!

Kudoz to Kalu and Chai. The breakfast was amazing and great portions- and variety. A great hidden GEM! So breathtaking. Amazing guides, cool place to just chill if you don't want to move around. The views were scenic and it was easy to navigate around. Great, great bread! The owner Thomas was so down to earth and cool! Peaceful and privacy guaranteed.

Steps for the immaculate sandy beach, action and numerous fine stores and dining, but offers a quiet refuge within its own compound in an appealing Swahili style, with a resident tortoise family. A convenient on-site rooftop restaurant with a bar and a nice breezy view of the ocean canal and boats. Excellent service with attention to detail. Tito and Bonnie deserve a special mention!!! Complimentary airport transfer on a boat. A convenient 20-minute boat ride (1000 KSh, or about US$8, each way) to the historic Lamu Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Beytsalam asub Lamus, 200 meetri kaugusel 18. sajandist pärit suahiili majamuuseumist. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta WiFi-ühendus, ühine köök ja pakihoid. Beytsalam means hospitality. Everything was perfect, from our arrival (with a pick up from the airport arranged by the hotel) to our last day on the island. The location is very good, close to the sea and the port (for a day trip on a boat) and the city center, which makes you really experience the life of Lamu. The hotel manager helped us organise various activities, like a boat trip and a snorkeling trip and all exceeded our expectations: the crew, the food and the experience as a whole were great. He also recommended good restaurants nearby which we really loved. We always felt safe and that we had someone to rely on. The hotel itself is in a very nice building and we really enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace with the sea view. The room was clean and comfortable. We wished we could have spent more days there!

Külalistemaja kõikides tubades on riidekapp. Our vacation was fantastic! The place had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the accommodations were very comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The pictures don’t do the property any justice. My room had the perfect view for the purple hues of the sunset. The food, room, location was perfect. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was very inviting. I felt like I was at a family home instead of a hotel….the intimacy of the hotel was peaceful.
