The highlight of our stat in Jambo House is Arnold, its owner. He is doing a great job, responds quickly, provides airport pickup, shares a map with all the useful tips and nice places to eat and is at your service if you need to book any kind of trip around Lamu. Furthermore, the breakfast here are lovely and for a bargain price, so definitely don't miss out on them ! In the room, we had all we needed, and it was very quiet, so we slept very well! We will be back!

The staff was ever so helpful and amazing. Kudoz to Kalu and Chai. The breakfast was amazing and great portions- and variety. A great hidden GEM! So breathtaking. Amazing guides, cool place to just chill if you don't want to move around. The views were scenic and it was easy to navigate around. Great, great bread! The owner Thomas was so down to earth and cool! Peaceful and privacy guaranteed.

A convenient on-site rooftop restaurant with a bar and a nice breezy view of the ocean canal and boats. Excellent service with attention to detail. Tito and Bonnie deserve a special mention!!! Complimentary airport transfer on a boat. A convenient 20-minute boat ride (1000 KSh, or about US$8, each way) to the historic Lamu Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A 200 metri da 18th Century Swahili House Museum, Beytsalam mette a disposizione sistemazioni con un giardino, una sala comune e una cucina in comune, che fa sempre comodo. La posizione centrale e sul mare. La estrema cortesia di tutto il personale e la completa disponibilità. La pulizia accurata. La prima colazione abbondante è curata nei dettagli. La organizzazione efficace dei vari tour effettuati grazie a loro. Infine, per me che ho girato il mondo diverse volte, è stata una piacevole sorpresa soggiornare in hotel tipico arabo datato.

Ci hanno dato la possibilita’ di utilizzare una camera di cortesia prima di partire per farci la doccia.

Our vacation was fantastic! The place had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the accommodations were very comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was very inviting. I felt like I was at a family home instead of a hotel….the intimacy of the hotel was peaceful.
