I was given a better room, because at that moment, it was available. Trust me, I a full time traveler, but I was NEVER received with tea and cake at a hotel! Unbelievable! Staff was friendly and smiling, very helpful. The room was nice and clean. The food provided was delicious and the location was just splendid! Go to Ansi Vila, guys!

Our host was super welcoming and gave us a ton of recommendations! He also arranged a tea field tour for us and it was amazing. Hatton wasn’t in our plans originally but thanks to him it became the favorite part of our trip.

It is a very cute place with a garden on the front and surrounded by greenery. The room was cozy and equipped with all the amenities. The place also has a small balcony with a small table and chairs with a pleasant view. Rajith is a great guy, a talented musician, he was very accommodating and was very helpful. We had a really good breakfast, prepared by his wife I highly recommend his place.

Nice hot pressure water with a large bar of soap provided. Super friendly and helpful host who can answer any questions about hiking Sri Pada and transport logistics after. So so close to the start of the Sri Pada trail head. Delicious Sri Lankan and western breakfasts. Close to everything you need. Love the cute cat and fishes! I’m glad we stayed in Dalhousie, has a festive vibe because of the pilgrimage.
