The owners went the extra mile to make me super happy. He is a safe driver who showed me many places per day in his comfortable car and she cooked fantastic meals for me with fresh herbs and spices out of their own ‘jungle’. They are a lovely and honest family, the best hosts during my world-travel :-) Also: the place is a gem in the mountains, beautiful decorated and with a clean pool. I felt really at home here.

Breakfast and dinner were great and tasty. The morning walk was so enjoyable. The reading room had even a nice puzzle which we made. Nice swimming pool. We wished we could stay longer. The area around the property is very quiet and very green, with many different types of trees/spices. The staff was very friendly, especially the manager (Christo). Extremely stylish tea estate that seems suspended in time and space.. me and my girlfriend just couldn’t stop taking pictures with our camera all around the property! They have a breathtaking veranda where you can enjoy your meals, especially the dinner at sunsets.. a charming swimming pool, marvelous rooms and a private waterfall!! Amila, the manager is one of the nicest and most professional persons I have the privilege to met during my time in Sri Lanka took very good care of us and I recommend not to miss the tea plantation tour and tea tasting with Mr. Das, the historic memory of this beautiful place. What else to add? Two nights weren’t enough but that’s a good reason to go back!
