What a wonderful place to stay!!! The house is lovely, the breakfast huge, the coffee yummy, and the hosts so welcoming. It's also a gorgeous spot on the bend of the river. Quiet with birds chirping away. Goldin feels like a home and would be a great spot for a family to stay.

A super-place at the very end of the world, right at the shore of the Arctic sea. There were a nice Wanderweg just from the place, that took us to the end of a peninsula, right into the sea; wonderful view, in wind and rain, but also full of sad remains from the German occupation - beauty and sadness in one go! Nice room, but, and perhaps foremost, also a really great eating place. We had fish, both days, and the were of top quality. The staff, from Italy and Latin America, were great.

The location provided great views of the Northern Lights; and in the comfort of a fully functional home with heating, space, cooking, dining, with washer and dryer. I was wowed with the huge refrigerator with lazy Susan function. They also had an observation deck in front of the lake with proper chairs and fire pit as an option while waiting for the Northern Lights to appear…or just stay in the comfort of the bigger house. The host was also very helpful and extended help to make our stay really comfortable and memorable. She would even let us know when the northern lights probability would be..and give alerts. 10 out of 10 rating well deserved.

House of Ellie se může pochlubit výhledem na moře a nabízí ubytování s terasou a balkonem. Tromsø City Hall se nachází přibližně 20 km odtud. The view is enough of a selling point. Private, overlooking the most gorgeous lake. But the space itself was also very cozy, clean and functional. The only thing that would have made it better would have been more of a kitchen (there were dishes and flatware, but slightly hard to manage without a kitchen). Still, it was an amazing stay. I would recommend it and will definitely come back.
