Bungalow chez Josi, bord de mer privé er staðsett í Tevaitoa á Raiatea-svæðinu og er með verönd og garðútsýni. The location was super, snorkeling right off our dock and close to town, but not too close. Josie was extremely kind in helping us plan our stay on the next island. It was really convenient that her family could rent us a car for our stay.

Staying with Anouk was one of the highlights of my Raiatea trip. She is so sweet and I had a fabulous time chatting with her in my (broken) French. She’ll make you feel right at home! Her place is also in a great little spot on the island - convenient with a great nearby sunset but not in the main port. Stay with Anouk!

Fare Hanuatai er staðsett í Tevaitoa. Gististaðurinn er með sjávar- og garðútsýni. Everything was perfect, I very recommend if you want privacy, island experience and not big box hotel. Wooden cottage with terrace is very new and tasteful, room is spacious and modern bathroom is huge. We were met with fruit basket on the table and bananas came directly from the plants in front of our terrace. We had a tour of owner's certified organic permaculture garden! Every afternoon we kayaked to the motu (free kayak provided) in front of our fare and spent hours until sunset snorkeling and just enjoying complete solitude on white sand beach. Can't beat that! Manutea is great host, he recommended wonderful local hike to the top of the mountain to replace closed Mount Taipoi trail and always was very attentive, but respectful. Car is needed to reach supermarket or restaurant, but that was a plus for us and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Paula is so welcoming and friendly. A marvelous host, a particularly restfull and relaxing enviroment with fantastic views. I'm coming back in November! That's how much l love it!

We spent two days here to explore and provision our yacht charter. I had a hard time finding the Bellevue and the manager came down to Dream Yacht to have us follow her back. The property is on a hill and has a great view of the sea. The room was clean and the mattresses were very comfortable. A nice quiet outside seating. One downside is no A/C. But there are powerful fans that keep the air moving and I had no trouble sleeping. We left our hats behind and the manager will bring them to Dream Yachts when we are done. This is not an upscale hotel but a more rustic peaceful setting. Knowing French would be helpful but I got along fine with Google translator.

Pension Les Trois Cascades býður upp á gistirými í Uturoa. Gistihúsið er með grillaðstöðu, barnaleiksvæði og verönd og gestir geta fengið sér drykk á snarlbarnum. Relaxed and private with lovely mountain/rural views. Friendly dogs to play with and bikes to ride. Creek to explore across the road.
