From start to finish she was very welcoming, professional and charming. She gave us a tour of the island by bike, took us fishing and cooked us some delicious dinners. The bungalow itself is lovely, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We also loved the breakfast with homemade yoghurt and coconut confiture - delicious! And it was very nice to have the bikes freely available for us.

Mata y su hija son encantadoras y te hacen la estancia súper agradable. Nos enseñaron la isla, nos proporcionaron kayak, bicicletas, pan, huevos, fruta de forma totalmente gratuita y nos llevaron al aeropuerto. Siempre con una sonrisa y una dulzura especial. No puedo estar más agradecida!

The location is amazing with direct access to the lagoon. Felix is a fantastic host. My partner and I had a wonderful stay there. Felix has been very welcoming and showed us some Tahitian customs (such as making your own coconut milk and make a raw fish plate with it).

I had a wonderful week here at Vaimoe lodge! Ivan and Vaitia were always making sure that I had everything to enjoy my stay to the maximum. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacy and you have a constant refreshing breeze coming from the ocean. You even have a direct ocean view from some of the bungalows. The local food they prepare is awesome and this side of the Tiputa pass is very natural and more calm with more locals living here and less tourists. You don't get a better package for your money in Tiputa than at Vaimoe lodge :) It's also just a short 30 min walk away from Tiputa pass where you have a cheap taxi boat every 30 min to bring you to the other side and the locals will even often ask you if you want a ride for free… You can also book all your activities directly with them like dolphin tours or diving etc… Can only recommend this place, run by a wonderful family 🤙🏽

We loved our stay at Moana Eco Breeze. The apartment in a typical Polynesian style house was nicely decorated, had a good fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and nice terrace overlooking the garden to relax on. The excellent internet in such a remote location was a nice surprise and we enjoyed going around the small island on the free bicycles. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. We had dinner at the property one night and the food was excellent. We would happily stay again and highly recommend this place!

Coupled with all the comforts at Tiputa Lodge and the attentions of the fabulous Henri makes it a very special stay. Hemti is a natural host, creating a tranquil, modern, and beautiful space - when at the lodge we lived on our private and spacious outdoor deck with gorgeous views of the gardens and ocean. Henri knows all the best places and provides exceptional recommendations for just about anything on both parts of the atoll and makes everything simple and easy. Yaks diving was superb and when I couldn’t get in the first day suggested a private dive with Serge of Arachamides diving where I had my first underwater encounter with dolphins.

Le Coconut Lodge se encuentra en Avatoru y ofrece wifi gratis, bicicletas gratis, jardín y zona de playa privada. Todas las unidades tienen baño privado totalmente equipado con ducha y secador de... Sophie (owner of the lodge who also runs it) was very helpful and an amazing host, nothing was a hassle for her. She organised for us last minute an amazing tour, which everyone else seemed to say no to. It was the best tour we’ve been on in a long time! Dinner is on a long table which makes it a nice family style. There are bikes for guests to use and paddle/kayaks all complimentary which was very nice. The beach in front of the lodge is small and we had it all to ourselves (everyone was out on excursions) which made it feel like we were in our own private little area. Thank you for the experience you have created for us!

Taia and véro are lovely hosts and will make sure you feel 100% comfortable. The breakfast is plenty and the place is spacious and clean. Awesome location, 1minute from the ocean, very quite. Taia made us one night dinner and it was soooo delicious. I recommend to stay there. If we find ourselves in tiputa again, we will stay with taia and véro again.

Vahaui Paradis dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante en Avatoru. On the ocean side which brings ocean breeze! Relief from heat and mosquitoes! Beautiful view, relaxing. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped bungalows. Great coffee! Walking distance to shops and restaurants and takeaways. Bring a torch for walking back at night. 2 minutes walk to the lagoon. Bikes for hire close by but Pierre and Motire are happy to help out transport wise if you need a lift somewhere or want to go further afield. They were great hosts. Their place is close to the Tiputa diving pass, where you can also watch dolphins jumping. Sunrise on the ocean side and incredible sunsets on the lagoon side. And don’t forget to look up at the stars. Incredible. I can highly recommend this place.
