Air conditioning was lovely and strong and was turned on when we arrived. Room was kitted out with water and toiletries which was lovely. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. The little coffee room with free snacks, yeah and coffee was fabulous.

Baan Jaru is located 500 metres from Clock Tower. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free public parking. Centrally located, 5 minutes walk to the bus terminal and the night bazaar, close to lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. Helpful staff who colour code a map of all the nearby sights.

Fantastically stylish room with great amenities, including the most comfortable bed, fantastic shower and beautiful decor. The owner is a super hostess, going to great lengths to ensure we were comfortable, providing great advice and an excellent breakfast - she was also incredibly kind in organising scooters for us to visit various sites around Chiang Rai. We would highly recommend staying here!

Located in a peaceful area of Chiang Rai, Gita's House offers a friendly guesthouse, a 15-minute drive away from the Bus Terminal. Everything. The place is clean, quiet, well kept. The bed is super comfortable. The shower has hot water, the decoration makes you feel at home. The staff is very helpful they give you tips on what to see around and you can rent a scooter directly there. The breakfast is very nice and has plenty of different options with delicious homemade marmelade. One regret is not being able to stay more. Thank you for everything 🙏

Joy, the owner, was always willing to help. From the moment I arrived she greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. My room was being cleaned as I arrived (I did arrive early) and it smelt so nice and clean as well. The bed I found very comfy. Also, the shower was nice and hot and good pressure. I found everything about the hotel to be a great experience and I will definitely stay again if I am back that way. She even has 2 brand new motorcycles to rent which I took advantage of for a day.

I spent a week at Milin Guesthouse, the rooms are very nicely designed and very comfortable. location is in a Thai neighbourhood on the edge of town with everything you need nearby…I loved the experience of living amongst local people. The best part about staying here is the host. Alex is a very interesting guy with whom you could talk about anything in the world with. He also has his beautiful family living at the guesthouse who went out their way to make me feel welcome. The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard and Alex took care of my motorbike rental and laundry. On my last day as my flight wasn’t until the evening Alex let me keep the room to chill out in past check out time as it was so hot outside this time of year, I was also treated to dinner with the family and a couple of beers before I headed to the airport. This without a doubt has been my best experience of accommodation in Thailand, and I’ve been coming for years.

I felt homely from check in to check out. The manager organized the scooter for me. Staff knows English however not fluent. Relay on Google translation. Breakfast was excellent and the menu changed every day. My 3 nights were super and I had a wonderful sleep to tour Chiang Rai. Thank you.

Very nice room and very clean as well. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was nice as well, it included bread, eggs, sausages, fruits. Would definitely recommend it!
