VITA Guesthouse has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Bajram Curri. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Such a dream guesthouse, one of the standouts of hiking the Peaks of the Balkans trail. Firstly, the hostess is incredible: a force of nature, truly caring and always ready with her local amazing fermented milk drink or a kindly gesture. She got up at five am to make us breakfast which was amazing. We also loved the new cabins on site; unexpectedly chic and romantic for the rural location. We got upgraded but we arrived first that day so that’s probably not something to count on. The food was also excellent and there was good camaraderie as it’s clearly popular amongst hikers.

The room (or should I say the studio) was very spacious, newly decorated, very clean, and very comfortable. Nothing of the previous comments I had read about noise, street lights etc etc. The hotel is very quiet, ideally located in Valbona (you would not want to be anywhere else), and windows have blinds in case you want full darkness. The host is very welcoming and everybody at Breezy tried their best to make us feel at home. Thank you very much guys, it is an honest 10!

The driver from the ferry will drop you at accommodation. The staff are so lovely, especially the young man who checked us in. His English is great! The room was clean and comfy and a lovely hot shower. They specially prepared us vegan options for breakfast. Pancakes, jam, salad, bread and fruit. Really delicious. Their dinner is also tasty and there were vegetarian and vegan options. The whole place had a great atmosphere and we were so happy we stayed here. The coffee is great too. I didn't expect there to be a proper coffee machine in Valbone. Thank you for a great stay. Thoroughly recommended.
