Firstly, we were happy to be staying in a family-run hotel and to be able to support a family business. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful, giving us tips for what to do and where to go and even for restaurants in the area as we were there during Christmas and the selection was very limited. We were also kept up to date about the weather and various other conditions in the general area. The breakfast was amazing, including the selection of the family's homemade jams. There were so many that we couldn't try them all! Fresh bread, loads of cold cuts and eggs, a huge variety of cereals, and fresh fruit.

Residenz Hugo features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 10 km of Königstein Fortress and 10 km of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The accommodation has a sauna. Great apartment and location. Clean and friendly service

Ferienwohnung zum Sebnitzer Hirsch er gistirými í Sebnitz, 22 km frá Königstein-virkinu og 36 km frá Pillnitz-kastala og -garði. Þaðan er útsýni yfir garðinn. Great value for money for a really big apartment, close to the bus station, complete cooking facilities. Big TV with Netflix and a large blanket to snuggle under. Also a great shower.

The staff was kind and welcoming, they even let us check in several hours before their official check-in. Other than that the hostel has a great location if you want to go hiking and explore the beautiful landscape. They even offer free ferry tickets. We don’t have any complaints

Loved the views from the balcony, the historically sensitive renovation of the old parish house. It is spacious and bright but also maintaining the historical charm.

Schöna Urlaub er nýlega enduruppgerð íbúð með garði og grillaðstöðu en hún er staðsett í Schöna, í sögulegri byggingu, 10 km frá Saxon Sviss-þjóðgarðinum. fantastic apartment in a converted old bakery. the rooms where lovely refurbished with lots of wood. we were living in "the big" one. the hosts were very helpful, if wished you can get breakfast or only bread rolls from the close by restaurant/hotel they also operate. the area is absolutely stunning. we even had next to it a very small village shop which though is only open on certain days of the week. there is though a vending machine with essentials close by. several restaurants in walking distance. There is a washing machine and a dryer in a seperate area which can be used by all guests staying in the old bakery.

Comfortable accommodation in a quiet location outside the centre, but an ideal starting point for trips. We were here in winter for New Year's Eve and even our dog spent the end of the year celebrations here in peace. Warm, clean, comfortable beds and equipped for a stay with children - cot, highchair, carpeted floor. The living room and bedroom are upstairs, bathroom with underfloor heating downstairs. We would welcome some staircase barrier in our case with a small child. We would have welcomed a microwave, but we knew there wouldn't be one, so that wasn't a problem. The owner was very friendly and there was also a nice surprise to welcome us. Thank you and if the opportunity arises we would be happy to come again perhaps in the summer months.
