Beautiful location, if you want to be surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place! My partner was not super in nature like I was but found it to be generally a nice relaxing time away. The semioutdoor shower was nice. I think it is good to have the kitchen and eating area separate - forces you to come out to the viewing deck and keeps the glamping tents free of scavenging wildlife. I only stayed for one night and found the brekkie provided to be ample enough for several meals for the two of us (eggs, bread and condiments) but I recommend packing food for lunch/dinner/snacks as well. Water is drinkable although has a brown tinge and metallic like taste due to the tannins from the eucalyptus and plants etc
For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
Peace and tranquillity, beautiful sunset and evening watching the birds.thankyou for the various reference bird books..very helpful for foreign visitors .Very comfortable in the tents and good kitchen facilities.
The tents were spacious and well equiped. Bed was comfortable with warm doona which we needed.
The provision of eggs and bread and jam for breakfast was a lovely touch.
The main building was very special with a fully equipped kitchen and a wonderful view over the lake and wildlife.
I like seeing the wildlife around the glamping tents, especially the Rufous Bettongs. The viewing deck over the Wetlands was spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset. The caretaker was very informative, helpful and friendly.
Location was superb. Glorious sunset. Very comfortable bed. Although we didn’t see any staff the communication was excellent and everything we needed was provided.
Breakfast provisions were provided. We had full use of the fully equipped kitchen in the lodge which is separate from the Glamping tents. The Lodge was ours to use for the stay. We went as a group, so we had the place to ourselves which made the stay even more enjoyable. the deck of the lodge is just a few meters from the edge of the water, birdwatching was fabulous. Relaxation was premium. Friendship, birdwatching and photography were the orders of the day.
Love the location, wildlife, setup. It was relaxed and very comfortable. The sunset was beautiful. We were lucky enough to see some wildlife during our stay.
