Boasting a garden, barbecue facilities and views of lake, Old Pound Smithy is situated in Bideford, 17 km from Westward Ho!.

The weather wasn’t really in our favour but this didn’t affect our stay. It was lovely and cosy inside.

Very comfortable, nicely decorated, felt like home! Very well equipped, it had everything that we needed. Lounge, dining area and kitchen are exceptional, practical and comfortable. Loved having 2 bathrooms and close to reception, club house and shop actually all amenities, also quiet. All in all fabulous! The view was amazing and we were able to watch a beautiful sunset right from the lounge windows.

Great to have off street parking. Yes it’s down a narrow road (looks like a path) but great instructions sent with the booking. Little veranda for alfresco dinning. Comfy bed. Great standard of bathroom and lovely shower. Friendly and helpful host.

.Location .Was very clean .Big enough to move freely and have everything one can need while staying here. But still small enough to be a very cosy place to stay. .The garden with all sorts of fruits and veg growing and a nice spot to just sit and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea. .Amazing sunset views from the garden .Close to some amazing locations for sightseeing and food .Mike and Azita were wonderful hosts and were very helpful with recommendations of places to see locally and sorting any issues out quickly.

The cabin is well appointed and comfortable. The bed was excellent and there's good outside space with the veranda and drive area.

Very clean, location, friendliness and communication of the owners views and veranda. The beds were comfortable, there were extra pillows if needed, and the sinks in the bedroom were convenient.

A really lovely cottage with everything you could need! Comfy beds; hot showers and a well equipped kitchen with the bonus of nice welcome pack to make hot drinks- even some posh coffee pods for the Nespresso machine! We loved the games room- so much to entertain the little ones (and big ones too!). The hot tub was also an added bonus and lovely and clean. We walked into the village for a nice pub meal and visited lots of lovely beaches. Thanks for a great stay at an affordable price!
