We booked for 2 nights and had a great stay. It is truly a glamping experience. Everything that you will need is provided for you - even better than average hotels. There are slippers, bathrobes, towels, toiletries, shower cap, hair dryer, dental kits, complete basic kitchen and cooking amenities, basic condiments such as salt and pepper and cooking oil, bbq facilities including wood and charcoal, wine opener, bluetooth speakers - literally everything you could possibly think of. We booked the bigger tent with the bath tub. The tent had more than enough space for 2 people to comfortably move around. It can comfortably accommodate maybe 3-4 people considering there is also a second double bed in the loft. The views from the tent are beautiful. It was sunny during our first day of stay and it rained during our second day, we were fine on both days. The temperature inside the tent can be hot or can be cold too (you have to remember this is still a plastic tent), but with 2 air conditioner and 2 electric fans, you should be able to control the temperature inside to your liking. Water temperature and pressure when taking a shower was great, no complaints there. There is an outdoor deck where you can sit and drink some wine, and there is the bbq area with a hammock and sitting area where you can eat. The host was always ready to answer any question and replies quickly. Overall really a delightful stay.
For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
Great place, cool views, there's a cafe by the place.
Very nice staff
Cool veranda where you can sit and watch the views.
The surrounding area is great to walk around
The staffs are very friendly. They listen to our all demants and questions. Always they find solutions. Hot shower, branket, warm room (the guesthouse situates at 1760 m alt), WiFi are available.
Kitchen is a shared one, it has all tools, utencils and ingredients? (salt, pepper l, etc).
Irina the host is very friendly and we had a good communication. She checked with us a couple of times to ensure we were having a nice time and recommended us a very good restaurant in the town. The accommodation has all you need to spend a couple of days in Kazbegi. It also has its own garden which allows you to park safely the car. We enjoyed very much our stay at Sunset Cottage and the views to Mt Kazbeg!
Liked the family atmosphere, the young son of the host George was good in English. The rooms were comfortable & clean. The shower had a problem which was immediately fixed by the host. The host also complied to our request of making fully cooked omelettes. Very good breakfast with home made honey !
Loved the company of their dogs too !
The snow clad mountain view from the veranda was superb !
The view to the mountains from the balcony is mesmerizing! Giorgi and Sofia are such lovely hosts - they really made us feel at home at their hotel. The place is well located and one has all the necessities and beyond: even blankets are provided to sit on the balcony on a chilly evening and watch the sunset with a hot cup of tea (water boiler and tea were also provided).
Great location, Amidst backdrop of Snowladen mountains, Marvellous view from cottage.Host Nina and Gia were very friendly by nature. Took us out for tours as well.Breakfast was good. Nature friendly material used for construction of cottages .Garden facilities were superb. Hammock and jhoolas were provided in the garden. Extended our check out by few hours without charging extra.👍
A bit outside the village and therefore a bit more calm. The views are great and if there is goof weather you can chill in the hammocks. The interior is well equiped and has functioning kitchen.
