Ang and his family were so welcoming. The food was brilliant. He kindly arranged different tours for us of the local area, which were fantastic. Also helped arrange airport transfers. Bungalows are fab, fantastic views of Rinjani and lovely hot shower.

The room is simple but clean and confortable. Hot shower! Angui and Suep are lovely hosts. They made a bonfire for the guests it was really nice. You're 15 minutes walk from the main road and some warungs but you also have to try the meals prepared by Angui, they're delicious!

I would highly recommend staying at Sama sama bungalows! The staff are very welcoming and accomodate to all of your needs. It has a great atmosphere with live music every Saturday night and beautiful views of the rice fields and a perfect balcony to watch the sunset

The location was quiet and allowed a good night's sleep on a comfortable bed with a 'romantic' mosquito net above. The bathroom was quite satisfactory with hot water, flush toilet, and modern appearance. Breakfast was great, the menu was great, the service and friendliness superb. We loved the trips through the rice fields and the trip into town to see the crafts. It was well organised.

I liked the really kind staff that cooked amazing food, the sunrise and view of the volcano from the property, the hammock and the day trip we took.

The location is just beautiful! Rooms are good and very clean. In front of the rooms is a nice garden with hammocks, just a beautiful place to chill or to watch the sunset. The environment of Tetebatu is also very beautiful: the half day trekking is definitely worth it! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good as well. Would recommend everyone to spend between 2-3 days here.

the whole experience of staying at vanilla cottages was the best we’ve had in the last 5 months of travelling. Hir and his lovely family were amazing hosts - their food was delicious (and made vegan on request) he took us on a tour of the village and also to visit the waterfalls and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were great, comfy bed, hot shower, hammocks and beautiful scenery. We felt so at home and we’re so sad to leave - can’t wait for our next visit !
