We really enjoyed staying “outdoors” in the tent. Rainy weather, windy weather, chilly nights - we loved it. Plenty of blankets to stay warm. Wine glasses. Large TV for Olympics viewing, cozy robe and water shoes to get back and forth to the bathroom. Bernie is an exceptional host who has thought of everything. We were minutes walk to the lake and a short drive to my uncles. Perfect location. There was a large variety of breakfast foods and beverages available in the main house, including coffee, fresh bread, jams, cereal, fresh eggs. We had a beautiful holiday/honeymoon/family visit. We’re so glad we chose to glamp at Bernie’s.

It was so charming. Very clean and a great family experience. The host was so fun to talk with. So many extras. Great location, able to walk to dinner and it was fantastic.

This was a wonderful stop along our trip. Location was great walking trails the castle we even got a craft fair and a festival. The owners Dick and Liz couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and their nephew Jack was always checking that we are okay and if we needed anything. I especially want to thank Jack for the hot water bottle What a great touch Hope to see you again in the future. Slainte' ☘️
For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
