Boasting river views, MOUNTAIN SHADOWS RESORT Wayanad provides accommodation with balcony, around 2.2 km from Meenmutty Falls.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mountain Shadows Resorts, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendliest and most attentive staff who went out of their way to ensure my experience was flawless. Every interaction, whether with housekeeping, the concierge, or restaurant staff, was warm and professional. Genuine hospitality at its finest. The resort itself is a paradise. The views are absolutely breathtaking, with panoramic sights of mountains with bansura lake, making it the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The accommodations were equally impressive—luxurious, spacious, and designed with an eye for comfort and style. Every detail was thoughtfully curated. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with the added perk of being in one of the most beautiful locations imaginable. The amenities were top-notch as well. It’s clear that the resort staff takes immense pride in maintaining a high standard of excellence across every face of the property.

Nestled in the serene wilderness, this property boasts a picturesque river stream flowing beside it. The culinary offerings are outstanding, with a delightful array of authentic Kerala dishes to savor. The staff, led by the ever-welcoming Ratish, goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable vacation. What's more, it's a pet-friendly paradise – we enjoyed every moment with our golden retriever.

Very helpful owner. He took a full hour in the evening to guide us around the neighborhood for visiting plantations and explaining us the spices, bananas, rice paddys. Beautiful sunset views for us. High end place Food was good, and they made sure we could order in advance, as it is not in the city with no restaurant nearby. This is clearly a vacation place, in the middle of nature, where several Indian families go to escape noisy city life. A lot of leisure equipment: swimming pool, kids playground, billiard, bow and arrow.
